It's my 1st tent, and I bought this one based on ease of set up and the reviews of Marmot, which were both very positive. I haven't taken it out camping yet, but I have set it up in the back yard. It's the perfect size for 2 people, even though it says it's made for 3. I like to spread out a bit. it has 4 convenient pockets in each corner to stow glasses, cell phone, Chapstick, etc. Marmot gives you the foot print and the gear loft for FREE - Bonus!! I love that it has two doors and when you sit up it has plenty of head room and you can look directly out the window, you don't have to crane your neck or anything. Last but not least, I love the colors-i got the alpenglow. I can't wait to put it to use! I'll write more after I field test it.

Although I have yet to use it in the field, it appears to offer everything I had expected.
The material is of high quality and construction. Set-up is easy and very intuitive, aided by the color-matched tent tabs and DAC Poles. The 2 entry doors makes access to and from the tent convenient. The 2 vestibules provide a nice amount of additional storage space for gear. This 3P tent affords ample interior space for 2 adults and gear. Headroom space is more then I expected for this size tent. I will be using this tent in many cases for kayaking to island and remote campsites, so weight was a concern and this tent delivers a light weight package at approx. 6 lbs. If your tent color is of concern, know that all pictures I saw of this tent appear to be grey, when in fact the rain fly color is a deep green Marmot calls Hatch/Dark Cedar.
